Anyone else having this problem? I use pipeline from Charter.

Seriously though, Norton messes your comp up something fierce! I have yet to know someone who's comp worked right after installing that program.

There is a particular setting on your Norton that needs to be modified. It's not supposed to stop you from connecting to the internet, so you just have to figure out what it is. You can call Norton for that, but I think you've to pay them for support. Also, check if you have any other anti-virus softwares or firewalls installed. Esp. if you're using XP, with the SP2. What exactly happens? Are you on dial up, DSL, or cable?
