it seems this all started after installing symantec systemworks 2008 on my machine and having problems with it and had 8 remote sessions(they control your pc) with symantec techs...fixed my software issue but now i have this problem..could it be related or do i have some other problem...symantec says cant help me because their software is running fine... have tried all the hardware troubleshooting and this is all i can come up with...this is so weird...wonder if the changed something in regedit or other settings...any help will be greatly appreciated..thanks

check if your plug is loose. Also check the hertz you are using on your LCD moniter. Hertz controls the amount of flickering.

Mabe you need to check in the info that is istalled with the lcd monitor as i have norton 2008 antivirus and also have a LCD monitor and it is fine mabe you need to update information for the monitor? Sorry i can't suggest anything more except perhaps run the disk again to the monitor and see if a file is missing?Also i don't think symantec would do anything to the setting ask them if they did they are good to work things out really.
