I am getting a message asking me to purchase antimalware.?

I have Norton 2006 SystemWorks installed on my computer. I am getting a pop-up asking me to purchase antimalware. How do I get rid of the pop-up?

What anti-malware company is mentioned in the popup? Is it Symantec? If not then there is a good chance that your computer is infected with spyware and/or adware. Whatever you do, do not purchase anything. Does your computer have any security software already installed? Use them to run a scan of your computer and quarantine any suspicious files.



If you do not have any security software then it is time to get some. At the very least, you should have a antivirus, anti-spyware and firewall applications.
