get something else.

Avast is free and wont mess with whatever your doing on computor.

the problem you will have is that norton wont update 2003 so you will be plaqued with viruses

some computer stores can sell you an old copy. Other than that, you may need to go with Limewire

It probably didn't keep your settings from the other program and now it's going through the process of "knowing" which programs allow and which to deny. If you can put up with it long enough, it'll begin to calm down once you tell it which programs are good to run and which aren't.

go to avast.com download the full trial version, than download the free home version, I used Norton for years, not any more misses to much stuff, Avast is much better.
you can't reinstall from someone else's cd. they are individually registered with Norton and verified when downloads occur.
